The DVD and superlaw workbook are a community tool to educate and inform the public about the law. Family Law/Educational Affairs (domestic violence only) CAAFLU develops and provides community legal education to government agencies, non-governmental organizations, schools and other community stakeholders. CAAFLU is an Indigenous Community Controlled Organization (ACCO) that provides culturally appropriate, holistic, multidisciplinary and trauma-informed counsel and support services for Indigenous peoples. and Torres Strait Islanders who are victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault. The successful candidate will work with the Tennant Creek team`s client service officers to provide legal advice and representation in the key areas of domestic violence orders (DSBs), compensation for victims of crime, child protection and family law. You`ll be based in Tennant Creek, with trips to nearby remote communities and regular opportunities to work in the Alice Springs office. You will work with an experienced team that provides a unique service to the aborigines of Central Australia and the Barkly region.
