The minor is part of the studies of the Ministry of Justice. Juvenile students in criminal justice take courses with a special focus on topics such as the nature and causes of crime and delinquency, policing, courts, prisons, and law. Special topics such as terrorism, white-collar crime, jury decisions and victims of crime are also offered. The Juvenile in Criminal Justice is designed for students who are preparing for a career in law enforcement, law enforcement, administration of justice, or other fields related to the study or management of crime, either right after graduation or after graduate school. The minimum requirement for a minor in the criminal justice system is 21 credit hours. To complete a minor in criminal justice, students must complete CRJU 1100 and 15 credit hours of criminal justice courses. At least 9 credit hours must come from higher division courses.
